Selecting an inventory and warehouse management system can be an arduous and resource consuming task for any organization. Large companies with complex systems rely on a formal selection process and a dedicated committee consisting of internal champions and often even third-party consulting firms. IT vendors are then compared against each other in a long checklist of functional requirements and risk mitigation filters. As a result, the selection process alone is an expensive undertaking.
