ShipForce - PutawayShipForce provides the tools required to accurately putaway orders using WiFi-enabled handheld devices such as the Symbol MC3000 series. Following a successful receipt of items, this process allows associates to put items away based on a number of algorithms. Standard algorithms include: Directed-Mixed bin, Directed-Dedicated bin, and Prescribed (predefined storage locations). ShipForce Putaway also supports custom algorithms. Our algorithms are designed to meet storage strategies and will improve space utilization and associate productivity. The Directed-Mixed bin algorithm determines the best place to store items based on available space and current bin utilization. Multiple items can be stored in a single bin. The Directed-Dedicated bin algorithm determines the best place to store items based on available space and current bin utilization. Only one item can be stored in a single bin. These algorithms optimize associate movements in the warehouse and bin and warehouse utilization. Items can either be individually putaway from carts, or putaway in bulk via the use of pallets. ShipForce stores data on each putaway made, including detailed information on associate productivity and audit trails for claims and rework.
